Do you speak Gondolier?
Gondolier (gon-dl-eer) - a (Venetian) boatman who propels a gondola boat.
Gyro (yee-raw) - meat, usually lamb, roasted on a vertical rotisserie, then thinly sliced, and
usually served in a sandwich of pita bread.
Souvlaki (Soov-la-kee) - to skewer, or a dish similar to shish kebab.
Manicotti (man-i-kot-ee) - a dish consisting of large, tubular noodles stuffed with a mild cheese
and baked in a tomato sauce.
Cannelloni (kahn-nel-law-nee) - tubular or rolled pieces of pasta, usually filled with a mixture of
meat or poultry and often cheese and baked in a cream or tomato sauce.
